Reservoir Vlogs

I was watching Reservoir Dogs for the first time in a while, and I forgot how great this film is, and when it comes to films I like, I just go into a deep-thought process about it afterwards. Then an idea sprang about the colours they use and all of a sudden I went “There’s no Mr. Green! How epic would it be to see John and Hank as Mr. Green?” So then I sprang to my computer and tried to a make a Vlogbrothers-based Reservoir Dogs design based on the iconic poster, all from scratch. A few hours later and voilà! I’m quite pleased with how this turned out as we usually see unique Vlogbrothers designs but not so many crossovers into other iconic images and themes, but if there any out there, I’d like to see them. Enjoy! :)

I loved TFIOS so much, so I decided to draw chibis of Hazel and Gus during their date in Amsterdam. I have Hazel wearing a “This Star Won’t Go Out” bracelet as a tribute to Esther Earl, and a friend pointed out that her bow is like an infinity symbol (some infinities are bigger than other infinities).
