Dear Nerdfighteria,

scribblesdhobbit:

I’m doing a small final project on Nerdfighteria and New Media, specifically focusing on the arc of Brotherhood 2.0 in 2007.

The question is: Can meaningful connections be forged over new media like the internet and Facebook (and Twitter and Tumblr and even Minecraft)?

I’ve already chosen several videos that I will be writing about, but I also want to write about certain Vlogbrothers projects. I’ve got an outline for Project4Awesome. I guess what I’m curious about is what projects you’ve participated in and what meaningful connections you’ve made as a result.

I really and excited to hear some cool stories. :)

DFTBA,

Rose

What say you, dearest nerdfighters?

Always wonder what other Nerdfighters do with their DFTBA Records purchases. I had a lot of fun finding the perfect spot for my This Machine Kills Fascists sticker (which, as you can see, I placed on my sewing machine!), and with that fascist-killing machine I spruced up my Pizza John shirt so it’d fit me bitter, and to give it some extra ‘flair’. I can’t wait to wear it proudly around New England! Has anybody else done fun things with their purchases? :)
