Today we went downtown.  It was a gathering organized via our facebook group, and I didn’t previously know any of the Nerdfighters who came.  Before heading out on our adventures, we gathered in a little coffee shop and compared j-scribbles and Hanklerfishes (some people were analysing the signatures so closely).  We headed out, it was freezing, but pretty freaking awesome.  We went to three bookstores, where we slipped notes into John Green and Maureen Johnson books (and a couple of re-routers into copies of Twilight), spent too long making your pants jokes with titles on the shelves, posed in a Nerdfighter manner… you know, all of that awesomeness.  Here are some photos from today:

^we were downtown for over 6 hours, over the last couple of hours people began to drift off.  Here were the final stragglers, at a big Chapters off Queen’s, the place where we spent at least 10 minutes saying “in your pants”.^

In our travels we discovered that Canada, or at least Toronto, appears to have been blessed with an unusual amount of green j-scribbles—they were the only colours we found.
